Today, most doctors and healthcare facilities offer their patients a Patient Portal. These portals provide a secure way to view your medical reports and communicate with your doctors and their staff.
If your doctor has a Patient Portal, but you do not yet have an account, you have a couple of options:
- Contact your doctor's office and ask them to send you an invitation to join their portal. The invitation should include all of the information you need to set up your Portal account.
- Visit your doctor's website and see if you can create your account directly from their website.
If your doctor or healthcare provider does not provide a Patient Portal, you can ask them when it will be available. In the United States, they are required to have one now.
